Hodgepodge of Thoughts

Since this blog has become so full of anything I can think of, I have decided to categorize the posts properly (OCPD…).

This part is for the stories, travel features, photographs, tips, reviews and personal essays.

The stories I have written are fictional but all inspired by personal experiences. My personal favorite is Looking Through The Window, which I wrote at midnight after Jamie (the love of my life, yikee! hahaha) sent me a picture of the neighbor’s house that was hit by a lightning.

For someone who claims to love to travel, I’ve only had a few post about particular places. First of all, during the time I started discovering the beauty of my own country I didn’t even own a digital camera. Even the concept of selfies didn’t exist yet circa 2003 when I visited Lake Sebu in South Cotabato, my first unforgettable travel experience without my parents.

Secondly, I don’t want to just post pictures. I love to share stories behind the pictures. That’s why I was compelled to write about MOAP because that place felt special to me. Hopefully I can share more of my unusual, amusing, and unexpected travel stories (like when I unexpectedly got stuck in Cebu on Christmas day)

Through time, I’ll be adding so much more here so feel free to browse through the different categories. Also if you want me to write about anything, I would definitely oblige if I can. Just comment here or give me an email at vmrrojas@gmail.com. I’d love to hear from you!
